This page explains how you can delete your Viral Day account and what happens to your data after deletion.

How to delete your account from the app

You can delete your account directly, at any time, without contacting support. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the Viral Day app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to the Settings menu.
  3. Open the Security tab.
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

That's it. Once confirmed, your account enters the deletion process.

What happens when you delete your account

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your profile and registration data (name, email and photo, where applicable).
  • Your projects, uploaded videos and generated clips.
  • Your settings, watermark and preferences.
  • The usage history associated with your account.

Deletion is irreversible. Data cannot be recovered once the deletion is complete.

Data that may be retained temporarily

Due to legal, tax or fraud-prevention requirements, some records may be kept for a limited period even after the account is deleted:

  • Payment and billing records: kept for the period required by applicable tax law.
  • Minimal security records and logs: kept for as long as needed to comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

This data is restricted to that purpose and is deleted at the end of the retention period.

Timeframe

Deletion of the data associated with your account is completed within 30 days of the request, except for records we are legally required to keep, as described above.

Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription, we recommend cancelling it before deleting your account. Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are managed by your Google account — cancellation must also be done in Google Play → Subscriptions.

Can't access the app?

If you can't sign in to delete your account from the app, send a deletion request to the email below, using the same email address registered on the account:
